RESTAURANT

Komorebi (n.; japanese) is an untranslatable word, which eloquently captures the effect of sunlight streaming through the leaves of the trees. The shadow created on the ground, or even in our curtains, describes this everyday beauty. It is the interplay of the aesthetics between the shadows and the leaves, and the shape of nature’s wisest earthly existence –  trees.

--CONCEPT--

The restaurant’s approach is simple and clear, using natural materials, such as wood and stone, and mixing them with a lot of green exotic plants. The key words that describe Komorebi Restaurant are “urban oasis”, “a tropical jungle enclosed in the middle of the city”. The green, vegetal component of the design comes to complete the concept of the restaurant, that serves a unique, exotic, round the world, fusion cuisine. The jungle wallpaper is used to create a strong outdoor illusion.         The materials used are travertine for the terrace floor and rustic wood floor for the indoors, an intense colored background layer created with a wallpaper, and other details that make up a perfect background for the marble and wooden furniture. The space is treated uniformly with two main focal points, the five meter long marble bar with a mirror in the background and the vibrant wild jungle wallpaper that perfectly frames it. This combination comes to support the theme of our restaurant -- a luxurious jungle.
